Cantaritos de barro cups are traditional small clay cups that are staples of street fairs in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Cantaritos cups are humble, with a lot of character and history. Their clay material is perfect for maintaining a cocktail’s cold temperature, and the handmade nature evoked memories of generations worth of fun.
The cups are made out of clay and we have finished our cups with a special led-free glaze to reinforce them.
The are traditionally meant to be refilled during the night at street fairs, but are usually treated as disposable. We have finished our cups with a special glaze to reinforce them. With proper care the cups could last for some time, but are easily breakable and not dishwasher-safe.
Each cup is handmade on a manual turntable and size may vary.
Approximate capacity is 16 oz. 5" tall x 3.5" diameter at rim x 2" diameter at base. Hand wash only with warm soapy water. Not dishwasher safe Lead Free. Made in Mexico
